Research Center P.O. Box 26583 Richmond, Virginia 23261 Dear Dr. Fagan: You have already responded twice to our requests for samples of Virginia Bright tobacco leaf for Dr. Carl G. Becker, Associate Professor of Pathology at Cornell University Medical College, 1300 York Avenue, New York 10021. Now he has requested another shipment. I do not want to bother you with this indefinitely. Perhaps another ten pounds will see him through. If not, I will try to spread the burden to someone else next time. My excuse for returning to you this time is to be sure of a reasonable degree of uniformity in his material. Some of his findings are puzzling but it seems necessary to keep the work going if we are to get a resolution. With my thanks and kind regards, Sincerely, Robert C. Hocket, Ph.D. Research Director RCH/lp
