On October 17, 1984, we received from New York a sample of 80-mm Lucky Strike Lights manufactured by American Tobacco. The results of our usual analyses appear on the attached computer printout. The following differences between the current and previous samples appeared to be greater than expected. Smoke Analysis Carbon monoxide decreased from 8.5 to 7.0. CPM decreased from 7.7 to 6.0. Air dilution increased from 33.00 to 37.90. The accompanying letter indicates that these cigarettes are available in the Albany, N.Y. area.
