Carter DATE: March 6, 1991 SUBJECT: CAMEL FF 83 CPB TRANSITION TEST RESULTS On January 29-30, 1991, a one machine-two shift transition test was conducted to evaluate Phase III sampling data against approved specifications and to determine cut filler moisture settings for CAMEL FF 83 CPB. From the transition data it was determined that all parameters were within action limits, except FTC "tar". Listed below is a summary of key parameters: If consumer data indicates that we proceed with implementation, FTC "tar" and draft specifications will be adjusted prior to Phase III start-up. Attached is a QA Summary from Jack Ring (Attachment I) and Machine Performance Evaluation (Attachment II) from Steve Robb. Machine performance data indicated that light cigarette rejects, light end rejects, and weight related rejects were the only reject categories with a statistically significant decrease, although other reject categories improved but were not statistically significant.
