Institute for Occupational Health at Budapest and works on dust burden in human lungs in general, mainly dealing with workplace exposures. During our recent discussion she expressed a very firm opinion against the validity of the Pauly paper, claiming that fibres of that size could never reach the alveoli. At the moment she thinks about a written comment. Profs. Szende and Kendrey did a lot of work to check whether the cancer diagnosis by microscopical tissue check are really that precise and found a high degree of inaccuracy. With best personal regards, Helmut Reif
