Instead they will congregate these wastes in tanks and simultaneously dump them at one time. Should there be an unusual amount of waste, there could be two separate dumps. These wastes will be isolated in waste treatment using the following procedure. The Environmental Engineering supervisor will communicate and coordinate the dumping activities with Production personnel. To isolate Lines I & II 1. Close valve #44-824 and open #44-825. They are located behind the primary lift station. 2. Close valve #6 on the primary header that separated the backwash lift pumps and the primary lift pumps. 3. Open valve #2 and close valve #3 on the equalization basin header in the primary lift station. 4. Close #4 and #5 primary flow controllers by switching from automatic to manual and pushing the out closed buttons on the controllers until the indicator needle drops off. 5. Adjust flows through the plant using primarys #1, #2, and #3. 6. We are now isolating all flows from Lines I and II going to the equalization. To isolate Line III 1. Close valve #44-824 and open valve #44-825. They are located behind the primary lift station. 2. Close valve #6 on the primary header that separates the backwash lift pumps and the primary lift pumps. 3. Close #1, #2, and #3 primary flow controllers by switching from automatic to manual and pushing the out close button on the controller until the indicator needle drops off. 4. Adjust flows through the plant using primarys #4 and #5. 5. We now have all Line III isolated to the equalization basins.
