Protocol for the Isolation of the Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon (PAH) Fraction from Cigarette Smoke Condensation (CSC) Attached is the detailed procedure which has been developed for the isolation of the PAH fraction (and a related indole/carbazole fraction) from the CSC. Fractions of approximately 1 mg are obtained from most CSCs, which are sufficient for bioassay.
